About the Role

NexGen Robotics is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures for our enterprise clients. You'll be the technical authority on cloud strategy, guiding both internal teams and customers through complex infrastructure decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end cloud architectures for enterprise-scale deployments
Lead cloud migration planning and execution for on-premises workloads
Define standards for security, networking, and cost optimization
Evaluate and recommend cloud services and third-party tools
Mentor engineering teams on cloud-native patterns and best practices
Create architecture documentation, runbooks, and reference implementations

Requirements

8-15 years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure
AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
Deep expertise in microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures
Strong experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK, Pulumi)
Knowledge of security frameworks, compliance, and cost governance
Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences

Compensation

$150,000 - $200,000 base salary
Equity participation
Fully remote with quarterly in-person team gatherings
