About the Role

Meridian Health Group is seeking a Data Analyst to join our analytics team. You'll transform complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights that drive clinical and operational decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI
Write complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple sources
Partner with clinical teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
Develop Python scripts for data cleaning, transformation, and statistical analysis
Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ensure data quality and integrity across reporting systems

Requirements

2-5 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role
Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) or R
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare or life sciences
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data standards
Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning concepts
