About the Role

Atlas Financial Services is seeking a Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations and provide strategic financial guidance. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll oversee a team of 5 and play a key role in financial planning, compliance, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
Manage external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards
Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and variance analyses
Lead budgeting and financial planning cycles
Implement and improve internal controls and accounting policies
Manage and develop a team of 5 accounting professionals
Partner with department heads on cost management and financial strategy

Requirements

CPA certification required
7-12 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Deep knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS standards
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
