About the Role

NexGen Robotics is building a companion mobile app for our industrial robotics platform, and we need a talented iOS Developer to lead this effort. You'll create an intuitive, performant interface that allows operators to monitor, configure, and diagnose robotic systems from their iPhone or iPad.

What You'll Do

Design and build the iOS application from the ground up using Swift and SwiftUI
Integrate with our robotics APIs for real-time monitoring and control
Implement offline-first architecture for factory environments with limited connectivity
Publish and maintain the app on the App Store
Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability
Collaborate with our firmware and backend teams on API design

Requirements

3-6 years of iOS development experience
Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store
Understanding of RESTful APIs and real-time communication (WebSockets, MQTT)
Familiarity with Core Data or similar local persistence frameworks

Nice to Have

Experience with IoT or industrial applications
Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for device communication
Background in robotics or embedded systems
