About the Role

TechNova Solutions is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain our automated testing infrastructure. You'll ensure quality across our web and mobile applications by designing robust test frameworks and integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design and implement automated test suites for web applications (Selenium, Playwright)
Build API test automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or custom frameworks
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or k6
Collaborate with developers to define testability requirements and acceptance criteria
Triage test failures, identify root causes, and maintain test reliability
Contribute to QA strategy and testing best practices documentation

Requirements

3-7 years of QA experience with a focus on automation
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java)
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Experience with CI/CD integration and test pipeline management
Knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools
Understanding of performance testing concepts and tools
